Cyprus 1901 18 Piastres Coin.


Queen Victoria Posthumous Issue (1901) issued during the reign of King Edward VII of Great Britain (1901-10).


This coin has a mintage of 200,000 coins,which makes this coin quite scarce.


Struck at the Royal Mint,London (England).


Milled edge.


.925 fine silver.


The obverse portrait was designed by George W. De Saulles (who also designed the portraits of King Edward VII).


The reverse depicts the Coat-of-Arms of the Colony of Cyprus,which was derived from the Coat-of-Arms of the Lusignan Kingdom of Cyprus.


This coin is an extremely underrated coin.
