Canada 1977 nickel Voyageur 1 Dollar Coin.


This coin is a very unusual one,as I can guess that it was cut from an Unc. set & spent.Both sides have a very wide rim,& the rim denticles are located quite away from the edge.


If anyone has any information about this very unusual $1 coin,can you please leave a posting?


The coins of the Dominion of Canada are very popular with British Commonwealth coin collectors,not only Canadians.

Bill,
The reverse design was in use from 1935 right up to 1987.


This particular coin is unusual,because of the wide rims.
